History

Sirindhorn College of Public Health Khon Kaen is an educational institution under the Praboromarajchanok Institute, Ministry of Public Health.

It is a higher education institution specializing in health sciences, established in accordance with the National Education Act. It holds the status of a legal entity and is considered a government agency under the Budgeting Act, operating under the Ministry of Public Health.

The college began operations on October 1, 1963, and has been in operation for over 62 years. Initially, it temporarily operated at the Kudtarat Control Unit in Ratchaburi Province, under the name “Northeastern Public Health Training and Education Center,” affiliated with the Department of Health Education and Training, Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health.

After the construction of its facilities in Khon Kaen Province was completed in 1964, the college relocated to its current location at 90/1 Anamai Road, Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province.
